Changes to Assessment Of Benefit |Medicare

There has been a slight change in process at My Family GP and we hope the following information explains what will change and what will not.

Face-to-Face Consultations - Following your appointment please make your way back to the front desk where our friendly team will ask for your consent for billing via our TYRO machine. After that billing will be assigned directly to your doctor and your medicare information remains protected.

Telehealth & Home Visit - Following your telehealth appointment you will receive a text message SMS from HotDoc. It is important you read this message carefully and respond accordingly to provide your consent for billing. Failure to provide Assignment of Medicare Benefit consent may result in private billing.
