Kathy Benn Dietician
For the past decade Kathy has specialised in metabolic health including surgery and GLP-1 medications within private practice. In 2022, she completed a Bachelor of Psychology (with distinction) aimed to consolidate previous clinical and sports nutrition experience with behaviour change. Kathy goes on a journey with the person to develop a more positive relationship with food and support them with the long and sometimes challenging road after weight loss surgery.
During her 4 years as the dietitian representative on the ANZMOSS Board, she founded and coordinated both a national Integrative Health Roadshow in 2021 and the ANZMOSS Integrative Health Professional Course in 2023 (now Obesity Masterclass), as well as produced education events specifically in metabolic surgery nutrition – all aimed to increase the standard of care within the industry.
